1. What I see in the image is a Japanese woman sitting on the ground crying. I think she is crying because of the big earthquake that had happen in upper Japan. The earthquake caused a big tsunami which destroyed Japan.

2. The colors I see blue, red, black, green, white, grey, and brown. The shapes I see are squares, circles, rectangles, and triangles.

3. Sorrowful, gloomy, glum, heartbroken, doleful

4. I think the meaning of this image is that Japan is going through something horrible & we should help them in any way we can.

5. The image uses simplicity as one of the Rule of Composition. Simplicity is used because the image was clear and you can see whats going on in the image.
