Taking a photograph is more than a point and shoot job. To take a great photo you have to do a lot. You have to think about the subject, the background, and the angle. The best technique for me to take photos is composition, fill in the frame, and getting the background right.

Photographing children isn’t so easy. You have to think about the composition. Babies are difficult to photograph. They ‘re difficult because they’re immobile. To take a good picture you would have to lay down with the baby. While you’re lying down lay the camera down next to you. The picture should come out with a big-eyed baby looking dazed in the camera. With older children it shouldn’t be difficult to photograph. The best time to photograph them is when they’re doing something they enjoy. Also, to make the photo stand out you should different focal lengths.

When you are taking a picture you should fill your frame. When your frame is full you wont lose the people who looking at the picture. The best thing to do is use your zoom lens and all DSLRs are able to be fitted. Also, position yourself effectively for close in shots will also help. Some people like to crop their pictures. You don’t have to crop them it’s optional. By cropping shots means a larger image becomes more pixilated.

Getting your background right is a must. With your background you have to look for colors that don’t fit the image, bright patches that might distract the eye, lines that clash and people that don’t belong. Move your subject might help with the background. A portrait subject to take a step to the left or right to fix things or put it out of the frame. Change your shooting angle would also make a difference. Rotating around the subject and use aperture to blur your background. To throw the background out of focus just use depth of field.
